Winter as a Time of Reflection

1/25/2023

Winter is the downtime in the seasons. We slow down, we hunker down and go outside less, especially during bad weather. In general, we are less active. It's the perfect time to look inward! What works, what doesn't, what do you want to dump, keep add...?  Sometimes easier said than done.  Maybe you start with a journal and notice the trends?  Could be daily, could be weekly, could be as simple as a few words at the start and end of each day.  Some prompts:
  • Take an internal inventory.  How do I feel today?
    • physically
    • energetically
    • mentally
    • emotionally
  • What am I grateful for?
  • What angers me?
  • What saddens me?
  • What drives me?
  • What repels me?
  • What conversations am I having with myself?
  • What are the thoughts I am telling myself over and over again?
You may be surprised at what you discover.  The next step...keep what works and develop a plan for what doesn't.

Winter is perfect for self-reflection! ❄️📝 Take time to journal, assess, and align your thoughts and emotions. 🌱 Keep what works, let go of what doesn’t! 💭✨
