According to Kute Blackson in The Magic of Surrender, and I paraphrase here:  our purpose is really quite simple...to grow and evolve our soul.  In essence everything is an opportunity to learn and to grow.  I am a huge fan of reading books that offer opinions, options, pathways to improvement.  Perhaps there is only one takeaway, but that takeaway makes a difference.  I share with you some of the readings that I have discovered.
