Maureen has been fascinated by yoga since first being introduced to it in her early 20’s. Initially, yoga was a way to quite her active brain and stay limber but it has become so much more. Yoga has been way to explore emotions, heal from grief and find peace within her own body. The mental, emotional and physical benefits have been immeasurable. Through teaching, Maureen hopes to bring these same benefits to her students.
Maureen has been practicing yoga since 2000. She completed her 200 yoga teacher training with Maine Yogafest School at Scarborough Yoga, is certified in Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra, and has taken Reiki 1 and 2.
